Overview Celebrity chef Mario Batali and co-chef and owner Andy Nusser partnered with Nancy Selzer and Joe Bastianich to bring this 100-year-old restaurant back to life as a modern pizzeria-trattoria. White marble, inlaid tile and dark wood make for a comfortable but laid-back atmosphere and the white tablecloths allow you to go for fine dining if you're up for it. And the menu fits the scene: order a couple small antipasti if you're peckish, or settle in for a six-course meal made of pizza, pasta and classic entrees.

Tarry Lodge Just ate there today at lunchtime. The food was mediocre at best, over seasoned or underseasoned (depending on the dish)and mostly cold. Service was fair. You might want to bring your own water because they neglect to bring more once the entree is served. They will however fill your glass once again when your meal is through! Atmosphere is shabby when you consider who the owners are and what your expectations are going there. Very disappointing experience. One last thing, do not order the octopus appetizer unless you like the taste of cat food.... See all reviews
